We’ve always admired the stars that graced silver screen cinema in the ‘50s; Burt Lancaster, Rossano Brazzi, Sophia Loren and apparently we’re not the only ones to be left enchanted by Hollywood’s icons. Drawing inspiration from Italian celebrities and the Sicily of Luchino Visconti's 1963 film The Leopard, designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana founded their namesake label in 1985 and immediately captured hearts across the globe. Long considered the inventors of Mediterranean style, Dolce & Gabbana are recognised for their high-octane collections that celebrate the designer’s Italian heritage.
