Love, loss and family are the heart of everything Talia Byre does. Founding her namesake label as a way to pay tribute to her family which ran the renowned Lucinda Byre boutique in Liverpool, the designer shows how clothing from yesterday can be reinterpreted, worn today and passed down tomorrow. Through subtly deconstructed, hand-wrought garments crafted from deadstock fabrics sourced from Northern English mills, Talia manages to deliver a sense of comfort and warmth that new pieces sometimes lack. From a leather skirt made of old trousers cut to look like bottoms while standing still, to upcycled knitwear with exposed seams, Talia Byre is the gift that keeps on giving. Discover more below.
