Demna Gvasalia has kept the revolutionary reputation of Balenciaga going in 2021. Founded in 1917 by Cristóbal Balenciaga, it became known as one of the forerunners of a changing silhouette in womenswear: linear and sharp, with ballooning and structural cocoon shapes.
