Brand Engagement Department
We’re a creative team inclusive of Social Media, Editorial, Communications and Brand streams. We are focused on putting Browns on the map by curating and cultivating unique brand experiences in Browns distinct tone of voice. Location
Our London Head Office is based on Old Street, London’s tech hub, home to a broad range of teams including Ecommerce, Tech & Product, Brand Engagement, Buying, Merchandising and People. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideals, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events. We also have homes in the form of our retail boutiques, Browns Brook Street in Mayfair, and Browns East in Shoreditch.
The Role
The role of the PR Manager is to assist in developing and driving the press strategy in order to effectively communicate the Browns brand message on a global scale. A key support to the Senior Communications Manager and wider Brand Engagement team, the PR Manager is a motivated individual with a passion for storytelling and relationship building.
What you’ll do
- You’ll support, develop and implement the annual PR strategy looking at complete, focused and results-driven press campaigns with an emphasis on Womenswear.
- You will build and develop unique storytelling for Browns, our brands and products with the intention of driving our target audience in store and online.
- You will work strategically and deliver on actionable objectives and KPIs that align to the Browns global strategy.
- You will line manage the Press Samples Coordinator and PR Executive, taking accountability for their performance and supporting their development, as well as offering strong leadership.
- You’ll cultivate and maintain strong and meaningful relationships with global press, influencers and brands supporting the wider communications team.
- Work collaboratively with the brand engagement team across editorial, social media and brand marketing on the development of 360-degree brand and product communications strategy, ensuring inter-departmental alignment.
- Work closely with the buying team and our spokespeople to identify key products, new categories, new designers and exclusive items at the start of each season and develop and implement the best way to communicate this information to a global audience, platforming our people.
Who you are
- You have global media relationships across fashion and business press, notably Womenswear.
- You will have a structured approach to work, with the ability to confidentially plan and prioritise workload to support and protect the wider business.
- You have a strong eye for detail and proven experience in formulating and executing brand and product campaigns as well as launches.
- You are a strong communicator, able to adjust and influence at all levels and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
