What Went Down: Gucci Cosmogonie Party At Browns
Last Thursday, we took a journey to the stars to celebrate the launch of the exclusive edit of Gucci Cosmogonie for Browns. The forecast on the evening of the 24th November was blustery, but in the heart of Mayfair it was a clear, starry night.
Marking the special occasion, some of our nearest and dearest gathered at Browns Brook Street for an evening of delicious cocktails, good-mood food, serotonin-boosting tunes and (of course) next-level style. Imagine the best house party of all time.
Fashionable friends were welcomed into our Mayfair home to a glass of Rathfinny Classic Cuvee, enjoyed amongst the dreamiest of backdrops. Our glistening, star-studded Gucci Cosmogonie installation in The Focus references the collection’s celestial narrative, showcasing 27 exclusive styles that can only be found at Browns.
Taking full advantage of their first chance to explore the exclusive edit up close, our guests selected the pieces for their gift wish lists this year. Then, nabbing a Native Negroni or Botivo Aperitivo from the bar, people started to wander upstairs; following the enticing music floating down from the Yellow Room.
Native At Browns served up mouth-watering canapés - including Fish Toast & Apple Hoisin (think prawn toast like you’ve never experienced before); and extravagant Celeriac Tarts with Exmoor Caviar; as well as Vadouvan Carrot Tostada with Hay Ash Honey. Yet again our wonderful restaurant partners show us how they can fuse humble (or not so humble) ingredients together to create something sensational.
In between much-needed catch ups with friends old and new, there’s always time for a quick detour to the photo booth for a snapshot to cherish forever.
Reaching their final destination, guests were drawn into a transformed Yellow Room-turned-dancefloor, illuminated by bright blue lights in homage to the installation downstairs. Bringing good vibes only to amp up the energy, London’s beloved DJ JJess (aka Jess Ajose) was first to hit the decks. Wearing an ethereal Gucci Tulle Top and Sheer Bloomers look which garnered all the compliments.
Just when everyone’s sweet tooth needed some attention, a Native favourite appeared on the dancefloor - Caramelised Honey Truffle with Burnt Italian Meringues. Can confirm that all-in-one is the best way to consume…
As the night reached its climax, Skinny Macho took over the soundwaves, decked out in a Gucci sweater and velvet wide-leg trousers combo that we added to our wish lists immediately.
We could have danced all night but, like all the best things do, our journey to the stars had to come to an end. After reluctant ciaos for now, everyone left wishing they’d had more truffle meringues when they had the chance.
