Our Frieze London 2023 started off on a high frequency, uniting music, fashion and creative friends of ours and AMIRI’s in our Mayfair home, memorialising our shared art with an epic house party. Here we celebrated our exclusive AMIRI x Browns capsule collection to the sounds of some of London's brightest new music stars, all whilst sipping on delicious tipples and chowing down on tacos. There’s no better welcome on an autumnal evening than a refreshing yet warming cocktail when you enter your friend’s house. Stopping at 39 Brook Street on Wednesday 11th October 2023, that’s exactly what our friends were greeted with. Between the Pét-Nat by Jung & Sexy, Dead Megronis (aka mezcal negroni mixed with Liquid Death Water) and Pacifico Beers, our friends didn’t go thirsty.
Tipple in hand, the likes of Young T, Bugsey, Tiffany Calver, Amir Wilson, Araloyin Oshunremi, Michael Venom Page and many more notable names then experienced the rush akin to walking into a record store… or finding your new wardrobe favourite on the rails. The Focus area is currently an homage to the transformative power of Hip-Hop and our collaborative capsule. Curated in partnership with AMIRI and Soho institution Phonica records, our very own custom-built record shop showcases a remix of our exclusives and iconic record releases from the likes of Hip-Hop legends Zay-Z, Nas, Beastie Boys, Dr. Dre, Notorious and Marvin Gaye (to name just a few).

Soulful psychedelic grooves from art-loving, NTS Radio DJ Zakia Sewell travelled across the soundwaves from behind the decks, enticing everyone away from The Focus for a moment and into our Concierge-turned-dance floor awash with an atmospheric green light to match the fluorescent AMIRI sign in our record shop.
After cutting some shapes on the dance floor, it was out to our beautiful twinkling Courtyard for a refuel. Not only were the tipples free-flowing, but the food as well. To soak up the drinks from the outside bar, delicious tortilla chips started making the rounds, whilst FUNGUYS were busy within our in-house kitchen cooking up a storm. Then tacos - slow-cooked beef brisket and a medley of mushrooms for the plant-based fans - made a welcome appearance. Not forgetting our sweet tooths, we ended the feasting on a sugar high with mini churros filled with guava or dulce de leche. (Drool.)
After being kind to us for most of the evening, the rain decided it couldn’t hold off any longer. That didn’t dampen the mood - we just took the party back inside for our highly-anticipated headline act. As the clock struck 8.30PM, people crowded to the dance floor to hear the voice of an angel. South London’s Ojerime hit the mic, blessing us with her individual soul-RnB fusion for an unforgettable hour.
With that, the party reached its climax and those who weren’t partied out just yet had a bit of time for a night cap to send them on their merry way to another Frieze event. The best house party of all time was over but our love for each other and the AMIRI x Browns collection will never stop playing on a loop. Mic drop.
Throughout October, our exclusive collaboration will be on display in Browns Brook Street’s Focus area within our custom-built record shop. Each vinyl on display can be purchased to take home.
