“Here’s an unfiltered picture of my round face
with no makeup on! A kiss for you.”
Q: What’s your top beauty tip?
A: You’re so much hotter than you realise and this will only become more painfully obvious to you in the future. OK, sorry to go full LA on you, but feeling beautiful is about feeling wonderfully comfortable and loved and inspired by the people around you. If that’s too wishy-washy, then my top tip is to look after your skin. Get comfy with your body and face. Lastly, do whatever you feel like, and own it!
Q: What is your favourite hair mask?
A: A hair question, praise be! I love Olaplex’s bonding oil. It gives my hair a silky high-shine finish.
Q: Where did you recently go on holiday and what were your essentials?
A: I went to Barbados! My go-tos were Mount Sapo Oil, 1999 pencils (very good in hot weather), Surratt eyeshadows for dinner and Augustinus Bader The Cream for post-sunbathing. On a boring note, I also kept the SPF on.
Q: Do eye creams work or is it a myth? If they do, can you recommend a mid-range one?
A: Honestly, a litre of water has been more effective for me than any eye cream, but I’m a recent convert to Sunday Riley’s 5 Stars Retinoid And Niacinamide Eye Serum.
Q: Biggest beauty trend for 2022?
A: I think the biggest trend for 2022 will be colour. Lockdown left us all at home with jade rollers and face masks and expensive creams. I think now we’ve been released into the wild we’re all ready for some full on pigmented glamour. That and grunge kohl eyes… thanks Julia!
Q: What’s the best skincare tip you’ve learned?
A: My best skincare tip is therapy, and if you can’t access therapy then eight hours sleep and a pint of water.
Q: What’s your go-to AM and PM routine please?
A: In the AM: Cleanse with Omorovicza and a hot cloth. Follow with Dr Sebagh Serum Repair. Add some Omorovicza Daily Vitamin C Serum. Finish with La Mer factor 50.
In the PM: I’ll try and have a hot bath. I’ll double cleanse, apply Mount Sapo oil all over my body and face, floss, add some Votary Seed Oil (I love oils), and call it a night…
Thanks for your questions!
