You could say the Paracas civilization were a tight knit group. Said to have inhabited Peru from 700 B.C to 200 A.D., they were known for their woven textiles. Decorated with feathers and made with vicuña fibres, looming large in South American heritage, their craftsmanship has been adopted by the brand ESCVDO. Founded by Chiara Macchiavello, the label collaborates with local Peruvian artisans to produce its zero waste collections, employing traditional textile weaving and embroidery techniques in its knitwear and separates.
