Homme Plissé Issey Miyake
Inspired by the fine art of paper folding, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake is an evolving project first started by Issey Miyake in 1998. In discovering his micro-pleating technique, Issey uncovered a new, liberated form of dress. Easy in both form and function, each design is expertly wet pressed to create an endless concertina of crinkle folds and indentations that sculpt the human form into organic, eye-catching shapes. The result is a selection of creative plissé crêpe separates that range from printed kimono jackets to sporting track pants.
