After flicking through a copy of the National Geographic and stumbling on an article about the Caribbean's Paria Peninsula, Sophie Karg felt inspired to design jewellery characterised by natural materials and raw beauty. The result is By Pariah, the London-based label creating earrings, pendants and rings imbued with an organic quality. Each piece is carved by hand in family-run businesses using traditional techniques to render 14K gold, diamonds, pearls and precious stones into minimalist jewellery.
