Good Grief, Cloudy Brown!

To coincide with the launch of the "Good Grief, Charlie Brown!" exhibition at Somerset House, Browns has collaborated with Peanuts and the Peanuts Global Artist Collective. Alongside a range of limited edition product that is exclusive to Browns, we are also playing host to one of two art installations by LA-based artists FriendsWithYou at our Browns East boutique. Gracing the entrance to our store is the friendly face of Lil Cloudy Brown, a large inflatable that combines FriendsWithYou’s Little Cloud icon and the exhibition’s namesake, Charlie Brown. The second installation is located at the Embankment entrance to Somerset House and features a series of three lightboxes showcasing three of their Global Artist Collective works. 

We at Browns are always on the hunt for the latest talent and are thrilled to collaborate with Peanuts and the Peanuts Global Art Collective on this one-of-a-kind project. Exploring Peanuts enduring appeal and welcoming it into a contemporary environment, the collective is made up of seven artists who present the characters in their own individual style for the exhibition, across a variety of mediums. 

Browns have teamed up with several brands including Corkcicle, Pintrill and Huf on a range of exclusive bags, flasks and skateboards that feature the whole Peanuts gang. Working with Swedish graffiti artist André Saraiva x Mr. A, FriendsWithYou and Nina Chanel Abney each piece uses their artistic interpretation of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus. This blend of nostalgia and contemporary vision makes the product a unique collector’s item for the new wave of fans.

Lil Cloudy Brown will be there to greet you at Browns East until the 26th November and the “Good Grief, Charlie Brown!” exhibition is running at Somerset House until the 3rd March so book it in the diary and in the words of Snoopy “never forget to smile”.
