Coming Soon: Homecoming x Browns
On Wednesday 26th August, the highly anticipated Homecoming festival is making its return for 2020, brought to life virtually in collaboration with Browns. This year’s programme will centre on education in both the business and creative sides of the fashion industry, as we continue to platform rising creatives and facilitate meaningful exchanges within our international community – from London to Lagos and beyond.
In support of the festival’s creative promise, Browns and Homecoming have curated a series of exclusive collections with new and established names who will take up residency online and in store at Browns East from 26th August. The 2020 brand line-up of international designers features recently-appointed Design Director of Yeezy Gap, Mowalola, Lagos skate crew Motherlan and their Nigerian contemporaries, alongside Virgil Abloh's streetwear powerhouse Off-White, plus many more.
We will be celebrating the global influence of African culture with a limited-edition E-zine created in collaboration with Metallic Inc Studio, edited by founders Grace Ladoja and Alex Sossah. Our community will also be able to join us virtually for a live conversation where we will discuss how to shape the future of the business of fashion in partnership with Homecoming’s creative community on Thursday 27th August.
Reinforcing our promise to offer the festival and its community our continued support, a percentage of the profits generated by our exclusive Homecoming collections will be redistributed to a number of small grants for the Nigerian creative community.
So keep a close eye on this page and our social channels @brownsfashion and @brownsmens for more details on how to get involved soon.
