Jacquemus X Daphne Leon

It is safe to say that Simon Porte Jacquemus has been a pioneer in creating an all-encompassing lifestyle brand. We don’t just want to wear Jacquemus, we want to spend our days running through wheat fields in Provence, dressed in parasol-esque hats, armed with our favourite miniature Le Chiquito bag.

While the days are getting colder, we begin to dream of Provençal picnics from the comfort of our own homes. Not content with just serving looks, this season Jacquemus has collaborated with ceramics designer Daphne Leon to bring us a collection of tableware, designed exclusively for the Browns 50th celebration.

Emerging Greek designer Daphne Leon was first scouted by Simon when he opened the second Jacquemus restaurant, Oursin. This collaboration resulted in 30 signature plates for the restaurant that acted as placeholders before the food was served to the table. The ceramic creations showcased 3D hand-painted designs of different food and dishes, teasing the diner with what was to come.

Now pairing for a second time, Jacquemus and Daphne Leon present a five-piece collection of beautiful handmade plates that echo the fruitful nature of Provence and Jacquemus’ iconic show locations. Inspired by the sun, sea and summer in the Mediterranean, each design includes or represents a signature accessory from Jacquemus.
