Balenciaga Track Sneaker

Demna has done it again.

Prepare yourself for the most anticipated sneaker drops of the season.

Following on from the sell-out Speed and Triple S models, Balenciaga is continuing to fuel our sneaker obsession with the new Track trainer. This brand new silhouette is slightly pared back in comparison with its predecessor. Gone is the supersized sole unit from the Triple S in exchange for a retro walking shoe aesthetic with functionality at its core.

Since Demna’s appointment as Creative Director at Balenciaga, the fashion house has slowly become more synonymous with its luxury streetwear and sneakers in complete contrast to Cristobel’s structured silhouettes of the past. From windbreaker jackets and oversized hoodies to loose fit jeans and statement sneakers, each season keeps us wanting more.

The Track trainer is no exception. Taking inspiration from the trail-runner style with an outerwear styling approach and producing a sneaker that is not only fashionable but functional. The high-performance trend has been on our radar for some time at Browns and the Track trainer is the perfect blend of luxury meets sports engineering. It’s cage construction, integrated lace system and Gore-Tex fabrication provide the technical elements whereas the neon flash colours and outlandish structure makes it undeniably Balenciaga.
