That’s why we’re launching “A Family Affair”, a project that celebrates our creative communities in the times we need one another the most.

To kick off this project, we’ve asked Browns favourite Kai-Isaiah Jamal to guest edit our first week of events and happenings, selecting some of their nearest and dearest to keep us inspired and entertained. No nearer or dearer than Baby Bashy, East London’s cutest puppy and the apple of his parents’ eyes (not to mention former model of Browns’ pet collections). We asked Bashy to take us through 24 hours in his cuddly little world...

What time do you wake up and where?
I wake up at 7.30 snuggled in Mummy and Daddy’s bed.

What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
The first thing I do is freshen up for the day. I also annoy my baby brother Beanz by squishing his little head. The most important part of the day is breakfast. I sneak in a little lick if I can.

Who do you share your home with?
I share my home with Mummy, Daddy and my brother Beanz.

Do you have any rituals?
My ritual is a good relaxing bath. 2020 is all about self care ladies and gents.

What do you do all day?
Most of the day I play. Recently I became an avid scrabble player. Daddy says he always wins but I’m sure he’s cheating.

Who do you look up to and why?
Everyone, 'cos I’m on the floor! But also Mummy and Mikey, they are always working hard.

What is the most important part of your daily routine?
I used to not walk anywhere, 'cos some of us were born to be carried. But now I do walk a little bit to keep healthy and active. It’s more for photo opportunities than anything else. A long walk makes me sooo hungry so I like teaching Beanz all the secret snack spots! All that snacking is thirsty stuff. Usually we have to wait til 5 for a tasty cocktail, but Mummy says “It’s 5 o’clock somewhere!”

Where do you go and what do you do to take a break?
After a couple of cocktails, Daddy and I have another snooze. This day drinking, ay!

Who’s the most stylish person you know?
Me, obviously!

What’s on your bookshelf right now?
Daddy won’t let me get my paws on Roxane Gay because I accidentally chewed it 'cos I was so engrossed. So I read Mummy’s emails instead.

What do you usually do for dinner?
Nag Mummy until she feeds me. Sometimes me and Daddy nag her together. Tonight I think I’ll request toad in the hole!

Dream dinner party guest?
How could I pick one? Let’s be honest, if anyone can pull an A1 Guestlist, it’s my family.

What time do you go to bed?
I’m on a strict bedtime of 10pm, otherwise I get so sleepy. We all put on our pajamas, but mine don’t fit anymore because I’m a growing boy. Maybe I need some Gucci print like Mummy’s.

Last thing you do before you sleep?
Then we say our night prayers to the gay Gods and say thanks for the best family and friends ever.
