What's up, doc? We're so glad you asked, as Browns' arrival of Dr. Martens is what is up. The brand was founded in 1947 by Klaus Maertens who, whilst recovering from a broken foot, created a custom pair of boots with air-cushioned soles. For decades, authenticity and individuality have underpinned Dr. Martens, with significant ties to a range of British subcultures (from punk to grunge). Today, the signature AirWair design and yellow stitching still identify its rebellious aesthetic, now with the incorporation of original styles and innovative collaborations. This is one label that certainly won’t be getting the boot.
