PETIT KOURAJ Woman

In Haitian Creole, PETIT KOURAJ translates to ‘little courage.’ However, that’s not something you’ll need when carrying one of the label’s macramé fringed creations. Founded in 2019 by stylist Nasrin Jean-Baptiste, the label delivers unique, wearable art which celebrates a love of ‘knitwear, sculpture and identity.’ Based in Brooklyn but made in Haiti, each bag is lovingly handcrafted by local artisans as part of a collaboration with D.O.T Haiti, a woman-lead organisation that provides education and vocational training to the Haitian community.
