Let’s Get Physical
As the weather gets warmer, we’re looking forward to getting back out into The Great Outdoors. Yes, the gym has been great and our winter home workouts have done the trick, but neither can compare to being out in the fresh spring air. With that in mind, we’ve decided it’s about time we try some new activities - less as a delayed New Year’s resolution, and more for the chance to treat ourselves to some new skills (and the outfits to match). Whether you’re dusting off the golf clubs, picking up a tennis racket, or finally getting into running, we’ve got all the gear to get you started on your new favourite hobby.
Golf
Whether a seasoned player or an enthusiastic novice, it’s time to give golf a go. We know you might have images of driving caps, plaid sweaters and diamond print trousers in your head, but our edit of men’s golf clothing is evidence that in actuality, today’s golfers are a rather more modern lot. From smart shorts, tailored golf trousers and polo shirts to lightweight waterproof jackets, this collection is proof that a hole in one can be both a score on the green, and a sartorial win.
Running
What shoes should I wear when I go running? Well, the short answer is ‘any pair from our edit of men's running trainers’ but the long answer depends on your preferred terrain. For those who brave off-road tracks, Salomon S-Lab sneakers are made with lightweight uppers, foam insoles, quick lace fastenings and Contagrip technology, making them ideal for a trek through the trails. If you’re more of a road runner, however, Hoka One One’s range of Bondi 7 sneakers are for you. With built-in cushioning and early-stage meta-rockers, they’re the perfect pair for a smooth ride. In terms of your upper half, try consciously-made compression gear from Pressio, pieces from the aptly named On Running, or District Vision’s stylish jogging apparel.
Cycling
We’ve come to realise that the best way to set a new cycling PB is to wear the correct at-tyre... As any keen cyclist will attest, natural ability on the bike is given a boost by a sleek closet full of the latest performance gear. Was it the comfortable chamois pad of our Rapha bib shorts that led to our fastest time yet? Perhaps the soft breathable antimicrobial fleece of our Pas Normal Studios jersey? Or maybe the rotor fastenings on our clip-in SIDI cycling shoes. The only way to know for sure is to add your favourite pieces to your basket, get back in the saddle and let us know which combinations see you pedalling faster than ever.
Tennis
The speed, the drama, the strawberries… the chance to show off our new tennis outfit… and of course, Naomi Osaka - what’s not to love? Our edit of tennis kit includes our favourite pieces of men’s tennis clothing to allow you a comfortable range of movement, without compromising your sartorial aesthetic. Whether you’re sunning yourself on Henman Hill or sweating it out on the court, just make sure your shirt and shorts coordinate with your tennis racket. After all, they should be part of a set. Game, set match. See?
