‘I do not believe in God. I believe in cashmere,’ once said Fran Lebowitz and since we started wearing the French knitwear label we have denounced the faux cashmere fabric and all his works. Founded in 1918, the Parisian atelier revolutionised the way women dressed in the 1920s. They use only the noblest materials including pure cashmere from their ECO factory in Mongolia, as well as pure silk made in Paris, with freshwater pearl embellishments to finish off their pieces. Call it divine inspiration, but we are mixing and matching it with all our outfits.
