What do you think about when you’re running?
Putting 1 foot in front of the other and the patter of my feet and my fingers. I tap my thumb on each of fingers like 1,2,3,4 to get into the mental state.

What is your most memorable run to date? 
The Puglia Marathon, in December 2017.  I’d been injured in the beginning in the year and managed to do a half marathon in the middle of the year, then put myself to work and did a marathon a week before Christmas.

I’m just high when I run, so I let my brain flow.

What is your most memorable run to date? 
A run in Sweden when I was training for a marathon. I had to run 35K a day and it was great – no pain, just feeling the high.

What do you think about when you’re running?
I try not to think about anything, that’s partly the reason why I do it. To clear my mind and focus on what I’m doing, how my legs are, how my body is, how I’m breathing.

What is your favourite thing to do post run?
Get a good coffee and stick my legs up against the wall.
