Three Words To Describe Your Style: Unafraid, moody, layers
Favourite Designer: Balenciaga
What occasion did you have in mind when selecting this edit of pieces?
I don’t really think about occasions - it’s about mood. Maybe I’d wear this to the supermarket, maybe to cocktails. It depends on the day!
What is it about this edit that you love?
I love the button detailing of the Talia Byre and Y/Project pieces. They’re basics, but in a really interesting way. Prada is really stepping into its new chapter now that Miuccia and Raf have found their momentum - this skirt has become the skirt of the season. ERL are always fun and I love their prints!
What draws you to the colour pink?
I used to loathe it but I think it’s because when I was young, pink was so attached to the idea of girliness. As I grew up, colour stopped being such a prescribed thing, and I rediscovered the fact that I actually felt quite free wearing it.
How does dressing playfully make you feel?
I just dress for my mood that day. In the end, if I’m comfortable in the look then I’m confident in being playful and being myself.
What is your most treasured item?
I have rings that my recently passed father gave my mother, that she then gave to me. I never take them off and will carry them with me forever.
Where did your desire to become a stylist come from?
I’ve always had a thing about clothes. My mum told me that the moment I was able to dress myself, I was putting my own outfits together. Apparently I was quite pedantic about what I would wear. I even got an award in primary school for “most likely to work in fashion”, so I guess my love of styling was always there…
What’s been a standout moment or project in your professional life so far?
Styling a Vogue cover was definitely one of those big bucket list goals, and it was a real moment holding the issue IRL.
What do you do when you feel uninspired?
Google image search.
Speaking of inspiration, where do you draw style inspiration from?
Everyday people and art. I style in layers, so it’s really appealing for me to see how other people dress. I’m also super tactile and think in colour, so I find art super inspiring in terms of colour matching, layering and textures.

What do you love most about styling a shoot?
Watching the model embody the looks.
What's your number one rule when it comes to styling?
There are no rules.
What’s next?
Something very big! For those who know me, it’s going to be a WOW moment which has been a long time in the making.
What are two things you can’t live without?
My chihuahua, Lil Drippy, and my acrylic nails.
Where in the world holds a fun memory for you?
The ocean, always.
If you were a piece of clothing, what would you be?
A Balenciaga shoe of some kind.
Tell us a secret?
I don’t know how to do makeup. I don’t wear any and I just never learnt how to apply it (and now feel like I’m too old to start!)
What’s the B word that best describes you?
Bossy.
