Daniel Sallstrom freestyle paints on three of his favourite faces
For the next chapter in our beauty story we collaborate with master make up artist Daniel Sallstrom and three of his muses as we explore the theme ‘volume’ and its multitude of meanings. Whether that’s voluminous lashes, the projection of your voice, the height of your hair, or breadth of your imagination, we’re celebrating all things extra.
From a fierce party girl with snatched brows; a glitter-encased otherworldly visage and full on 70s vixen, this story is about having it all. There’s never been a better time to embrace the decadence of make-up as we revel in the ritual of dressing up heading into the festive season. Life’s short, why not throw caution to the wind, and add some glitter!

Glitterati
This full-face explosion of sparkle takes volume to its absolute extreme where high-shine skin meets an alien-esque visage in frosty silver tones. Daniel created this look using Submission Beauty Glitter and balm for an all over shimmer, finishing the look with extreme layered lashes and semi-sheer neon yellow nails to cut through the muted haze. Surreal meets hardcore.

The Dollhouse
In a final crescendo, our 70s vixen takes volume to new levels with high stacked hair with gravity defying lifts reminiscent of Boogie Nights. Here in full glory, a shimmering face is highlighted for an ultra graphic effect in maximalist strokes in By Terry foundation; Surratt blushes, Jouer highlighters and Natasha Denona eyeshadows.

Man Eater
A complete transformation with magic in every step. This is signature Daniel Sallstrom artistry from muted but metallic smokey-eyes and brows that go for a little too long. The lingering colour by Natasha Denona’s Palette with Isamaya Beauty Industrial Palette (coming soon) stretches softly across the face in a perfect blend. The ambiguity of masc and fem lives through the juxtaposition of punky, gelled and twisted cropped hair and super sleek high-gloss hair lengths.

Sister, Sister
For us, more was, and is, more. This festive season, we’re all the more likely to experiment with our makeup it's about tapping into an individual sense of self. Whether that’s a full diamante Euphoria look, a subtle smokey eye or full-drag it’s about revealing yourself. Explore the joy of transformation in volume.
