Our first ever restaurant from the award-winning team behind Native. The mischievous little sister that has been waiting in the wings to go out and have fun with sustainable, conscious food served up in an accessible and playful way. Native prides itself on protecting and preserving Britain's culinary heritage, described by its founders as "innovative, wild and sustainable,”making these kindred spirits our perfect partner.
Although we would love to see you come rain or shine, bookings will be subject to weather conditions on the day. Select tables are available under canopies providing shelter from light showers and sunshine.
Native champions seasonal produce and ethical dining with a menu of small plates, natural wines and foraged cocktails. With a mantra of “what grows together, goes together”, they let the land, sea, forest and farm dictate their rotation of delicate delights. Our favourite dishes include the Native Fish Fillet and their renowned ‘Marrowmel’ dessert to follow.
Meet the founders, Ivan Tisdall-Downes and Imogen Davis. Entirely self-instructed, Ivan's resume features The River Cottage, Dan Barber’s Blue Hill Farm at Stone Barns, and the BBC’s Great British Menu. A born hunter-gatherer, Imogen has a lifelong affinity with nature and has been named one of Grace Dent's ’10 people to watch in the food industry’ for her incredible palate for wild British food.
The restaurant’s sustainable setting is another great reason to visit Native At Browns. Brought to life by London-based architecture and design studio Red Deer, the space embodies an artisanal, handmade spirit throughout and celebrates traditional craftsmanship.
