Taking the great outdoors as a source of inspiration for their latest collaborative collection, HYKE and adidas Originals present a selection of four unique sneakers. The HYKE X adidas originals AH-200 XTA FL features a climbing shoe style silhouette with layered white mesh overlaid with black leather and a BOA lacing system that adjusts through a single dial.

The Salvages ‘Manifesto’
Singapore based brand and fashion ecommerce platform The Salvages released their collection entitled ‘Deconstructivism’ and with it, their first ever sneaker. Now releasing their second iteration in a mostly black colourway, this chunky sneaker uses a variety of materials, including elk, calfskin, suede and leather which emcompasses the ‘manifesto’name. This ‘80s inspired sneaker is crafted by hand and sits on an asymmetrical Vibram sole unit.

adidas Originals X Sean Wotherspoon SuperEarth Superstar
An ‘80s classic has been reimagined under the masterful eye of sneaker designer and collector, Sean Wotherspoon. Mixing his passion for vintage streetwear alongside his vegan spirit, the adidas Originals X Sean Wotherspoon SuperEarth Superstar uses partly recycled polyester, renewable cork and glue that is free from animal ingredients. Using a clean white base, the sneaker is embroidered with threads of flowers and a hidden message under the heel tab.

Kiko Kostadinov X ASICS GESSERIT II

Part of a two colourway pack, the Kiko Kostadinov X ASICS GESSERIT II is the second iteration of this collaborative sneaker. Paying a visit to the ASICS archives, womenswear designers Laura and Deanna Fanning have taken elements from the Excourt II, a tennis model that shares the Gessirit’s unique quilted pattern on the upper that has no ASICS stripes visible. Using Gel pod detailling, the Gessirit II features a phantom and directoire blue colourway.

Kiko Kostadinov X ASICS GESSERIT II
(Cream/Tiger Yellow)
First presented at the SS20 womenswear show, ASICS collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov is back with the second iteration of the GESSERIT silhouette. Taking inspiration from the ASICS archives, the GESSERIT II takes elements from the Excourt II, a tennis sneaker from 2003. Using a quilted leather upper the sneaker features a cream and tiger yellow colourway with blue bubble constellation detailing and pops of colour across the heel and sole unit.

Dr. Martens X UNDERCOVER 1460 Boot
To commemorate the 60 year anniversary of the Dr. Martens 1460 boot, the British heritage brand is marking the occasion with a series of limited edition collaborations. Reuniting with Jun Takahashi, this month sees the release of the Dr. Martens X UNDERCOVER 1460 Remastered boot. This Made In England style has been crafted to the highest standards using British sourced black corduroy for the uppers, a floral printed insole, classic yellow out stitching and the letters ‘S’ for Spiritual and ‘N’ for Noise embroidered on the toe.

ASICS X Kiko Kostadinov GEL-KIRIL (Ice-Mint)
Fresh off the AW20 Kiko Kostadinov runway comes the new ASICS X Kiko Kostadinov GEL-Kiril sneaker in a new ‘Ice Mint’ colourway. Already released in ‘Cilantro’ and ‘Black’, this is the third launch from this much coveted silhouette. Using a bold turquoise and yellow colour palette, the GEL-Kiril features a latticed pattern with patent leather over a technical mesh base, sat on a FlyteFoam sole unit with a floral rubber tread at the heel.

A technical sporty silhouette from Nike, the new Air Max 720 ISPA is getting a new ‘Metallic Silver’ colourway. Presented in a greyscale colour focus, the Air Max sneaker features a series of circular mesh ventilation holes alongside shapely overlays and touches of Infrared details atop the Air Max clear bubble midsole and trail outsole in speckled gum.
