Beauty advice was made to be shared, so we asked a few of our Browns Community to test drive some of the products from our beauty curation, telling us which they liked best, and offering tips on how to use them. Divided into four beauty personalities, we’ve compiled the best of these testimonials, offering you a helping hand in discovering your own favourites.

Jermaine Ampomah, Stylist / Model: Obsessed. Beautiful shades with great pigment that work well together with a high metallic shine. Fun to play with, my favourite shades are Grip and Leather... Perfect for a mischievous night out!
Natasha Denona I Need a Nude Lip Crayon (NP2 ILONA)
Anete Salinieka, Make Up Artist: As someone who loves to over-line my top lip, I am constantly on the lookout for the perfect nude lip liner. This pencil glides on easily and stays in place all day. It has my preferred matte finish for a lip crayon, and it also has a high pigment. It is all these little details that make a lip liner perfect.
Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil & Le Prunier Plum Beauty Oil Mini
Dominic Cadogan, Writer: I have very dry skin and have often struggled to find a product that locks in moisture and leaves it looking plump and dewy. I can’t get enough of Le Prunier’s Plum Beauty Oil – not only does it smell incredible, but the appearance of my skin has changed dramatically since I started using it. I would buy it by the litre if I could!
Dr Barbara Sturm - Darker Skin Tones Hyaluronic Serum
Lauren Michele Pires, Manicurist: As my skin ages, I’m noticing my pigmentation and tone having uneven phases – especially during the winter months. Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Darker Skin Tone range is heaven-sent for anyone with these issues. In particular, I’ve been loving the Hyaluronic Serum and after a few days of using it, I can noticeably see it evens out my complexion and plumps my skin up.
The DIY Shopper
For the DIY shopper, they know their style and the products they like, but are always up for trying something new courtesy of a word-of-mouth review or a trending tutorial. Sharing is caring, so this beauty disciple is all about sharing tried-and-tested tips, not to mention experimenting with a new recommendation or three.

Cocoa Labbee, Model: These Submission Beauty glitters will stay on all night. They’re very dramatic so it’s perfect if you want to make a statement. My favourite part is the fact that it's plastic and aluminium free!
Natasha Denona Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow (Scarab)
Aoife Cullen, Makeup Artist: Many brands have shift shadows but this is in its own league. It only requires one swipe for a complete eye-catching full-coverage finish but can also be blended out for a one-stop smokey eye. In the light, it glows an ethereal emerald green that’s hard to stop looking at. In the shadows, it turns into a block of gold that twinkles back and forth. This is a real feature product that would look amazing with little to nothing else.
Omorovicza Glam Glow Self-Tanner
As a lover of natural-looking skin against a statement eye or lip, I love the little bit of warmth this adds to my skin without having to wear makeup. I apply it once or twice a week in the evening on top of my night cream to my face and neck and it makes me look and feel more alive and glowing with minimal effort. It gives me a dreamy, very natural sunkissed glow which, as a pale, freckly Irish girl, has never and will never happen naturally.
Kjaer Weis Im-Possible Mascara
LYNSKI, Makeup Artist: I am always on the hunt for a good spider-lash mascara. I love the brush on this one because you can get all the volume with just one layer, or you could keep building it up and get that editorial look in no time. I also love the fact that Kjaer Weis is conscious - you can get a refill of your mascara without having to buy a new one! And lastly - the colour and finish is that perfect matte black.

Meet the Curious Customer. These are the beauty enthusiasts for whom style and substance go hand in hand. They care about good ingredients and informative packaging that looks as good on a shelfie as it does on one’s skin. Open to trying new things, these are the ones seeking extravagance, not excess. Aoife Cullen, Make Up Artist: As a make up artist and lover of cream products, I really appreciate this little set. The combination of shades makes this great for a quick lip and cheek touch-up to suit all skin tones. This would also be perfect for the low maintenance, girl-on-the-go, add a bit of mascara and you have a full face, all using one little palette.
111SKIN Cryo ATP Sports Booster
Ben Schofield, Stylist: I’ve been mixing a couple of drops of this in with my moisturiser every morning and it’s incredible at reviving your skin. It’s been a really hectic few weeks and I’ve been absolutely knackered, but this instantly brightens your whole face and leaves you with a glow for hours!
