Surratt Beauty Beauty
Beauty protégé and makeup artist Troy Surratt founded his eponymous label on the inherent belief of free-choice, self-expression and harnessing your inner artist. From its double-decker eyeshadows to its powder blush, shades are not predetermined to belong together but are instead there to encourage the creation of individual looks. It’s the combination of this ethos and the founder’s inspiration of Japanese innovation that has Surratt Beauty sitting comfortably in a league of its own. Each handmade Artistique Brush is developed in Kumano, Japan - the country’s ‘brush capital’- with a 60-step production process established by artisans who have spent centuries perfecting the craft of making calligraphy, painting and cosmetic tools. With a plethora of futuristic formulas, Surratt Beauty is showing us a whole new side of makeup, including the Diaphane Loose Powder which boasts the appearance of a pressed powder but provides the vapour-light finish of a loose setting powder, alongside the refillable Auto Graphique Liner that has an elongated brush tip to offer greater precision than a pen.
