Duran Lantink Exclusive Installation at Browns East
“Everybody has to find their own way of building a more supportive and positive future.”
Dutch-born Duran Lantink is challenging our perception of the luxury fashion industry and using his design talents to bring a new approach to sustainability and conscious messaging with his pieces. Stemming from his frustrations with mass production and overconsumption within fashion, Duran seeks to create unique, one-off pieces using deadstock and left-over sale items.
With collages at the centre of his design process, he transforms beautiful pieces by creating a unique fusion of multiple items making them even more aesthetically pleasing. So, we invited the Amsterdam based designer to delve into the depths of our warehouse to make a capsule exclusively for us and on the 10th October Duran Lantink is launching an exclusive range of womenswear and menswear using our very own deadstock designer product.
Browns East will play host to a brand-new installation in its entrance, showcasing his key looks. The concept is a continuation of his zero-waste ethics and will feature a recycled wall using lights seen in previous displays, as well as collage fly posters from FSC recycled paper.
This collaboration is part of Browns Conscious. From the 45-piece collection to the installation itself, everything has been recycled, reused and reimagined. Because, it’s #cooltobekind to the planet.
