Get ready to party...
With gifting season beginning and the holidays fast approaching, the real fun starts once the party season gets underway. With invitations arriving thick and fast, our menswear buyers have selected the ultimate party edit to ensure you’ve got the right look, no matter what the dress code.
The Office Party
Whether in a corporate office or a dressed down agency, the office Christmas party gives us an excuse to add a little extra flavour to our daily attire. This season we’re taking style cues from the ‘60s with a classic slim-fit suit from Haider Ackermann and a cream turtleneck courtesy of Our Legacy. Forgoing a fitted shirt creates more of a business casual look, finished off with Prada loafers and the flash of a Gucci watch (all the better for showing off as you reach for your second glass of mulled wine.)
The Formal Party
The festive season gives us the go-ahead to get creative with our wardrobe, so this year we’re choosing some subtle logomania from Gucci. Experimental yet fun, the double-breasted GG Stripe suit finds its perfect companion in the form of a Visvim silk shirt. With the suit doing the talking, all we need for accompaniment is a pair of simple brown brogues from Grenson and this Foundrae cigar band ring for embellishment.
The After Party
If you’ve managed to make it to the afterparty, it seems fitting to showcase your rockstar resilience with a similarly rock’n’roll look. We recommend this loose gold striped Saint Laurent shirt paired with studded jeans by Amiri and topped off with a Nick Fouquet fedora. Add the finishing touches with some chunky derby shoes from Eytys and a simple Tom Wood silver chain. A fresh spritz of Comme des Garçons Parfums and you’re good to go again.
The House Party
A casual set up is a welcome invitation to indulge in some more casual holiday party attire. With our Common Projects sneakers at the ready, we’re adding a gilding of festive gold with an Edward Crutchley shirt and AMBUSH bracelet paired with minimalist Jil Sander chinos. Wrap up warm pre-arrival with the cosy addition of a Sulvam faux fur bomber jacket.
