These white and ivory Converse 'Chuck Taylor All Star '70s' low-top sneakers are a necessity gents. You see, Converse a having a moment this season (and every season come to think of it) and one must always have their finger on the pulse, mustn't one? Originally designed for professional basketball players in 1917 (fun fact of the day), these classic low-top sneakers have been designed from white cotton canvas and retain all of the classic features such as a lace-up front, silver-tone eyelets and the iconic ivory rubber sole complete with a black stripe. Wear your Converse sneakers with a Rag & Bone 'Manston' bomber jacket and blue denim on your next hike through Hyde Park.

MEET THE DESIGNER
C is for… cult. And converse. And the two are inextricably bound together, of course. After all, how many other footwear brands do you know that have been around since 1908? Yes 1908. Edward VII was King, Ernest Shackleton had just set sail for Antarctica and construction of the Titanic was yet to begin (just to put this into context). Beginning as a rubber shoe company, they started to use rubber to make sneakers and in 1920 their canvas basketball sneakers were renamed the ‘All Star’. Reiterated more times than we care to imagine, Converse trainers are as desirable now as they were over 100 years ago, and we’re fans of longevity at Browns which is why we selected a fine Edit of Converse for AW16.
