These grey Converse 'One Star' suede sneakers will take your shoe game one step beyond the rest chaps. In fact Converse themselves refer to this colourway as 'thunder' so rest assured they are far from pedestrian. First designed in the 70s, these iconic low-top trainers are the result of well-executed manufacturing and have been designed from grey suede complete with a lace-up front, embossed logo stamp at the rear, perforated details and the iconic white star logo at the side. Finished with a white rubber sole, we'll be showcasing our Converse sneakers with grey denim, a Missoni hoodie and White Mountaineering 'Ester' jacket on your next Sunday stroll through Soho.

MEET THE DESIGNER
C is for… cult. And converse. And the two are inextricably bound together, of course. After all, how many other footwear brands do you know that have been around since 1908? Yes 1908. Edward VII was King, Ernest Shackleton had just set sail for Antarctica and construction of the Titanic was yet to begin (just to put this into context). Beginning as a rubber shoe company, they started to use rubber to make sneakers and in 1920 their canvas basketball sneakers were renamed the ‘All Star’. Reiterated more times than we care to imagine, Converse trainers are as desirable now as they were over 100 years ago, and we’re fans of longevity at Browns which is why we selected a fine Edit of Converse for AW16.
