These amber Jimmy Choo 'Holly 120' velvet shoes will cause a Renaissance in your footwear department mes amies (velvet was a favoured textile during the Renaissance period, didn't you know). Designed for the brand's AW 16 collection which celebrated the 20th anniversary of Jimmy Choo, these classic 'Holly 120' shoes have been reworked in plush amber velvet with an open round toe, buckle-fastening ankle strap, a leather insole and 120 mm covered block heel. We'll be wearing our platform sandals with a floral print silk shirt and jeans to the next wine tasting event.

MEET THE DESIGNER
The Browns' Edit of Jimmy Choo showcases the brand's glamorous and playful aesthetic. Jimmy Choo is a 21st century luxury accessories brand, with shoes at its heart, offering an empowered sense of glamour and a playfully daring spirit. The brand traces its roots to a bespoke shoemaker named Jimmy Choo, based in the East End of London in the early 1990s, who catered to the global jet set, including Princess Diana. The Jimmy Choo company was founded in 1996, with Mr Choo’s niece, Sandra Choi, who had been heading up design in the East End atelier, coming on board as Creative Director, a position she holds to this day. Mr Choo departed the company in 2001.
