With this black, blue and green Gucci tropical print Padlock shoulder bag, Alessandro Michele wins us over once again. Coincidentally featuring a striking likeness of our favourite childhood budgie 'Comet' ('Comet' was a lovely small, blue parrot), now we can always have him with us, painted onto this compact Italian-made accessory amongst the exotic flora of his homeland. It is finished with Gucci's hallmark gold-tone push lock closure and adjustable gold-tone cable chain strap which can be extended and carried over the shoulder or doubled up as top handles. We had so many birds when we were a child, though every few years our parents would release them into the wild while we were at school, strange that. Oh wait...

MEET THE DESIGNER
The Browns' Edit of Gucci reflects the romantic and bohemian mood of the brand. Founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci as a leather goods company, the Florentine house has been catering for both the European aristocracy and Hollywood elite for nearly a century. Fall '15 saw the label taken in a fresh direction by creative director Alessandro Michele, one that’s more colourful, eccentric and retro than that of his predecessor. Expect to see playful accessories and irreverent combinations of fabrics and prints all linked by the air of glamour and sophistication for which the label is known.
