Pero means ‘to wear’ in Marwari, the local language of Rajasthan, and is designed by Aneeth Arora from a studio in New Delhi. Arora believes the ‘true trendsetters’ are the local people in the streets around her and she is constantly inspired by their tunics, slouchy trousers, duster coats and masculine shirts in an array of prints and bold colours that she translates into her collections.
