Sara Battaglia grew up in a creative environment, surrounded by siblings who later became art dealers, fashion editors and prop stylists with a sculptor mother leading the family. From a young age Sara created accessories for her Barbies which grew into designing life-size versions. Following art school and various apprenticeships at accessories companies she created her own brand of brightly coloured, tasselled bags.
