SUNO's sample and pattern makers develop the pieces in New York's Garment District before they are brought to Kenya where local artisans and skilled seamstresses finish the garments. Formed by Max Osterweis in 2008, fair trade brand SUNO showcases the work of Kenya's local talent. Osterweis has collected rare and indigenous textiles for more than a decade and entwines these one-of-a-kind fabrics into his brazenly-chic collections. Celebrity fans include Michelle Obama, Sofia Coppola and Julianne Moore.
