Vision Street Wear logos figured prominently in Chloë Sevigny’s AW13 collection for Opening Ceremony. The skate brand rose to prominence in the mid 80’s and early 90’s and is credited with combing skate and music by supporting the House of Vans venue and sponsoring ‘street skateboarders’ including Mark Gonzales. Chloë Sevigny also drew on inspiration from the ‘Youthquake’ for her collaboration garnishing each Vision Street Wear piece with a pin of that movement’s iconography resulting in a line that is the perfect combination of 1960’s youth avant-garde and 1990’s teenage rampage in comfortable separates.
