Rie Yamagata trained at both Parson’s School of Design in New York and Central Saint Martin’s in London to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Womenswear Design. After a stint at 3.1 Phillip Lim Yamagata founded her own label, Rhié, to produce precise clothing for intelligent, freshly refined women who value detail in design and quality materials.
