Roland Mouret oversees his atelier in London and was born in Lourdes, France. Mouret went on to design Jean Paul Gaultier’s menswear, worked as a stylist at French Elle and after moving over to London, and starting his own label, showed his first collection at London Fashion Week in 1998. Draping the material straight onto a mannequin, handling the folds and the womanly form personally, it is no surprise that Mouret has been upheld as a true sculptor of the female form.
