Bouchra Jarrar started very early in life after learning to sew through watching her mother. Born in Cannes to Moroccan parents, Jarrar studied at école Supérieure des Arts Appliqués de Duperré in Paris. Before working alongside Christian Lacroix, Jarrar held the position of Studio Director at Balenciaga; it wasn’t until Lacroix’s unfortunate bankruptcy however that Jarrar decided to launch her own collection. The young designer hasn’t looked back since.
