Broach and Kirkby graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic, and established the Boudicca label in 1997. Fiercely independent, the duo wanted to create avant-garde and experimental designs. Whether it was a love for history or because both Broach and Kirkby wanted their designs to be the embodiment of the 21st century woman, the clothes on the runway portray both edginess and femininity that today's women would definitely appreciate.
