Rag & Bone was born from Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. They founded the company in 2002 with one clear vision in mind; to make clothes that they and their friends would love to wear everyday. The brand began in Kentucky, both Marcus and David had no formal fashion training but surrounded themselves with people who had been making patterns, cutting fabric and sewing throughout their whole lives. The importance of quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail became the keystones of the Rag & Bone philosophy, the definition of what clothing should be. Combined with a strong British tailoring influence, the design duo produce classic yet modern sportswear for men and women that is known for being understated and wearable.
