English visual artist Heather Cowie's lifelong love of lace and silk blossomed into designing garters when she was left a collection of vintage materials by a great aunt who ran a baby's wear shop in Australia at the turn of the 19th century.
She takes special interest in dyeing and customizing each garter in muted tones and stitches in seed pearls to make each garter she produces absolutely unique.
