For Christmas 2011 Browns collaborated with international Brand Consultant, Art Director and Fashion Consultant Thomas Erber to create ‘Le Cabinet de Curiosités de Thomas Erber’ within Browns' main boutique on South Molton Street.
Thomas Erber has bought together the worlds of fashion, art, designer and travel, and chosen 30 internationally renowned artist and designers to fill his ‘cabinet’ with the rarest and most unique objects d’art ever commissioned. Having been fascinated by the concept of a “room of curiosities” for many years, Erber has revived this Victorian fascination for the 21st century, bringing a touch of extreme modernity: Both luxurious and exclusive.
The designers and artists that you will find throughout the ‘cabinet’ will include, Manolo Blahnik, Alexandre de Betak, Girard-Perregaux, Loree Rodkin, Lulu Guinness, Pierre Hardy, Kitsuné, Rodarte, and Waris to name a few.
Look for the frame around the products that are Cabinet de Curiosités pieces.
