GARETH PUGH

Gareth Pugh takes his inspiration from Britain’s club scenes and the ‘struggle between lightness and darkness’. His trademark is an experimentation of form and volume that always contains a hint of the nihilistic and apocalyptic. Monochromatic, angular and geometric, Pugh’s designs make great statement pieces. Graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2003, Pugh has since released a menswear collection, mentored by Rick Owens and the LVMH group has shown interest in the 28 year old designer from Sunderland.
