FELIPE OLIVEIRA BAPTISTA

Felipe Oliveira Batista, a Kingston University fashion graduate, was originally born in Portugal. Having designed for Cerruti, MaxMara and Christophe Lemaire, Baptista launched his own collection in 2003 with a LVMH fashion award but it wasn’t until 2009 that he showed his first ready to wear collection at Paris fashion week. Before this the designer was invited to show his garments alongside the couture collections. Now a member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, he is also creative director of Lacoste and his ready to wear clothes are sold worldwide.
