BALMAIN
Balmain, the legendary Parisian design house, first opened in 1945 and became famous for its silver screen creations for Vivien Leigh and Brigitte Bardot. In 2006, former creative director Christophe Decarnin modernised the house’s appeal with a little rock 'n' roll chic; presenting heavy embellishments, grand evening gowns, body-conscious dresses and tailored suits all in signature slender, supple and elegant lines. In April 2011 the 25 year old Olivier Rousteing took over as Decarnin successor bringing his own signature to the label.
