Akira Isogawa is one of Australia's most prominent contemporary fashion designers. Born in Japan, he immigrated to Australia in 1986 and studied fashion at the Sydney Institute of Technology. Drawing inspiration from contemporary Japanese design, his commercial fashion label Akira concentrates on working with beautiful fabrics and easy shapes.
